Someone was asking me the other day where you could get ‘good’ fake moustaches and beards, didn’t have a clue at the time, but now I do! Check out this fake moustache and beard selection, they’re from a Dutch mannequin company whose shop is chock full of other bizarre stuff.
You Know the story, it’s Christmas time, you want to buy your loved one the perfect present, but you can’t remember what size they are? You can’t ask them as that would blow the surprise. You root through their old stuff, but the sizes are contradictory – what is their general size?
Well to avoid any unnecessary trudging round the shops exchanging clothes this Christmas, fill out your vital stats on this cheat sheet and give it to anyone you’re expecting to get a present off. As long as they can read, hopefully this year everything will fit!
In response to Nicky’s vital stats diagram, I’ve made her this Christmas cheat sheet of my own measurements. Thought it’s too good of a thing to keep between ourselves, so I’ve made the ‘male’ version of the form as a PDF, download it here.

Thought I’d post a quick work in progress of what I’m up to at the moment, sorry the photos are shit… I’m currently in the middle of producing (with Nicky’s help too) a series of paintings to decorate the walls of Roome Consulting’s new office, they’re based on the work I did on Eleanor’s website. My bedroom is bursting at the seems with these 1 metre by 1 metre canvas’s, but they should look good, and very yellow!
Incidently a few people have asked me where I got the canvas’s from. I got they from Discount Art, who sell a box of 10 for £125 (reduced from £329) £12.50 each is pretty good value.
I’ve been blogging a fair bit about badgers recently and was quite shocked this morning when I found out that the government is planning a mass slaughter of them!
Sign the RSPCA petition today, the government are due to make a decision in the next month or so on whether to go ahead with a cull of badgers as a means of controlling bovine TB in England.
This advice goes against the conclusions of the Government appointed Independent Scientific Group on cattle TB, published in June, after a 10 year study. Their conclusion was that while badgers are a source of bovine TB in cattle, badger culling can make no meaningful contribution to cattle TB control in Britain. The evidence was that some culling policies could make matters worse rather than better.

I love this and think it’s such a good idea. My girlfriend Nicky has drawn me this vital stats chart to help me buy the right size for her this christmas :) I know we blokes should already know this, but bet most of us don’t know much other than the boob & waist size… Handy the other round I suppose, why don’t you make your loved one a vital stats chart today to make sure you’re not out exchanging ill fitting clothes during the post christmas sales!
