The north face of the Eiger! As you can see by the route map below, no green run up this bad boy ;)

This is where we’re headed and our highpoint of the day, it’s all downhill to Lauterbrunnen from there.

I probably took more photos today than on the whole trip put together. It’s a hard job picking my favourites to post, but I love the colours in this one, it reminds me of old holiday snaps, we came to this area all the time when I was a kid.

At last a bit of sunshine and according to iPhone weather, we should have at least a week of it :)

We got as far as a bar in Alpiglen, just below the pass when it started raining again. Massive sausage, beer and then the bus to Grindelwald seemed like the sensible desicion :)
