I think some of my previous cock monsters would be interested in this amusing video. Something to do with these C.M.O.N.S – it’s a bit beyond me what’s going on here, but something to do with the Vauxhall Corsa…
Cheers Nicky for the link.

Suicycle is a funny little animated short about what goes in comes out, the cycle of life and our impact of the planet, again and again and again. Made Curiosity for the 2007 DesignPolitics exhibition, looks like the handy work of their talented Art Director Alberto Cerriteno.

Blighmy after watching this psychedelic animation by Peter Max, I need a refreshment…
I’m in awe of the craftsmanship of animation background artists. Animation Backgrounds is a blog devoted to that art and I can’t get enough of it.
Odd but adorable characters from Jun Seo Hahm. Check out his animation reel out also, it’s brilliant.

Ever since I worked on the Spot the Bull project, cow related content seems to catch my attention, but this Moo animation is definitely the most nuts of all I have seen. More madness at Cyriak.

I posted a while back about POKE’s Good things should never end website, well I’ve just seen the interactive TV ad and it looks amazing. Created by Weapon 7, the whole thing is a looping stop-motion animation flying past loads of good things you can discover. (much better than the actual TV ad in my opinion) Rex’s characters look brilliant cut out of card too.
David Shrigley’s illustrations & animations are always amusing, now he’s gone and written a whole load of song lyrics and got loads of bands (David Byrne, Franz Ferdinand, Islands, Final Fantasy, Grizzly Bear, Hot Chip, Liars, Aidan Mofatt, Trans Am, TV On The Radio, Scout Niblett, and many more) to record them as songs. The video clips on the Worried Noodles site look and sound brilliant.
It’s a book plus 2 CD’s, 39 songs, buy it here.

Quirky short film Raymond by bif pictures.
“Raymond, a lazy swimming pool instructor, would like to discover the ocans. A team of scientists with a brand new solution offers to help him…”
The movement/physics is like real life version of this chat engine. You have to watch it for a bit before it gets really funny, but don’t fast forward. Nice idea, superbly executed.
