Who's the Drunkest?

Client: Personal

It was my last day at Poke and my last day in England for 6 months, so I organised a massive drinking game to celebrate! Congratulations to Dezza for winning, he now has his very own Tankard kept for him behind the bar at the Owl & Pussycat :)

Poke Sticker Saverbook

Client: Poke | Agency: Poke

This hasn’t been printed yet, but here’s a preview. At Poke we have to get our visitors to wear a sticker with the poke logo on while they’re in the building – something to do with fire regulations. We thought we could possibly use this to do something nice for our visitors, so we made this Sticker Saverbook. Basically it work like the old Green Shield Stamps, each time you visit you get your security sticker, when you leave you peel it off your jumper and add it to the book. So for clients who visit a lot, they can save up for some special Poke treats from our goodies catalogue :)

infographic of the Continental Divide Trail route

Client: Personal | Click for larger view

This is an infographic of my 3000 mile route across America on the Continental Divide Trail, due to start walking in May 2008! I produced this to get my head round the basic logistics – The white markers are towns we’ll be passing through to get supplies, with the dates we’re hoping to get there. The black & orange arrows indicate how many miles there are in between each town, how many days I expect it will take us to cover the distance and the average daily distance we need to do to get there on time. It looks deceptively simple, but this took me hours and hours to work out, and went through many many revisions!

cardboard party flyer

Client: Personal

This year the theme for my birthday party was cardboard, you could come as anything as long as you built it out of cardboard! This is the invite I designed for it. You check out some of the costumes here.

Blokes (and girls!) should know their partners vitals stats… but we all need some help from time to time! I made these Christmas 2007 to try and take the guess work out of shopping for your better half. Print 2 out, fill one out with your sizes and give it to your partner. Get your partner to fill out the other and give it back. Then head out shopping!

You can download the pdf for girls here & and the pdf for boys here.

moustache punk rocker monster

Client: Oh Baby | Agency: Made in England by Gentlemen

My friend Ant asked if Me & Nicky would customise some Oh Baby baby clothes in any way we saw fit (to use in their shop window), of course we jumped at the chance! We ending up making them into baby clothes monsters, above is my Victorian punk rocker. Click here to see Nicky’s Convict muppet.

Oh Baby have a shop just down the road on Brick Lane and an online store here, you should check them out, they have some really cute stuff.

draft excluder snakes

Client: Knotty & Kate

This is the wedding present me and Nicky made for Andrew & Kate. Basically just a couple of basic snake draft excluders, but tied together in a love/friendship knot (their surname is Knott!). I also designed their wedding invite that used a load of Australian (where Knotty’s from) flora & fauna twisted together to make a similar knot.

Squeezy does Zit

Client: Poke | Agency: Poke

This was the first time I’d done a V&A Village Fete, my idea was to make a huge disgusting spot covered face and invite the contestants to try and squeeze as many of them as the they could in the time.

It was my last day at Glue before heading off to France Telecom R&D, so I organised a drinking game to celebrate! This was the scorecard that everyone had to fill out, winner (think it was Dan?) was crowned International King of Sports.

glue icons

Client: glue | Agency: glue

Imade these icons back in the day when Iconfactory had just brought out Candybar and for the first time you could completely customise your macs set of icons. I was working for glue at the time so created a system replacement set based on their branding as a pet project.
