We could of walked upstream to a bridge, but me and Paul wanted to see if we could ford the river running into Twin Lakes. Probably won’t be trying it again, it was bloody fast flowing and deep! You couldn’t even hold your ground going across, the stones under our feet would give way and we were constantly being driven downstream. Managed to get across in one piece though, lucky our packs are waterproof!
