Totoro is one of my favourite animated films, and a lot of other peoples too by the hundreds to amazing art works produced for the Totoro Forest Project. All the work has now been auctioned off the raise money for the National Trust Totoro Forest Foundation, but you can see all the Totoro inspired work in the online gallery.

FourTrack
If you’re a musician and have an iPhone, this FourTrack app from Sonoma Wireworks has got to be a must. But also if you’re totaly un-musical and lying in bed with a hangover like me, it’s bloody great fun too! I’ve been harmonising all morning and making sweet beautiful music ;) Just look at that sumptuous interface, worth the £5.99 download price just to look at it.

Benedict Radcliffe
Ilove Benedict Radcliffe’s tubular cars, the first is surreal, looks like a photoshopped computer wireframe. But check out the pedalo Lamborghini, amazing! Apparently he’s try to flog the double ended Golf / metting room, if you fancy it?
Cheers for the link Dil.
Antarctica
These images look they’re from a sci-fi film about the colonisation of Mars of something! The Boston Globe have posted 32 photographs of Antarctica from the past several years. The vivid colours and contrast of the images are amazing and not disimilar to this trend in modern illustration.

Design your own Tequila bottle
This was of those rare times where I saw an online ad and really felt the need to click it. Come on, design your own tequila bottle and have it put into production, who wouldn’t want to take part it that? Well maybe I’m a bit biased with my recent Margarita addiction. Wait a minute, just seen that it’s not a competition… you have to pay them to print your design on a bottle, $225 no less! Not sure if I really want to design my own tequila bottle quite as much any more…
Time to burn?
Loving this calendar made of matches by Ukrainian designer Yurko Gutsulyak. Be careful though, don’t want your whole year to go up in smoke!
Typography Served
Randomly found the site Typography Served today, chock full of great stuff like the Vinagre font pictured, by Velckro. But then I noticed that the site was powered by the Behance Network, a creative portfolio site. Seems they’re sucking in the best stuff to showcase and not just typography, they’re also serving up an Industrial Design, Motion Graphics, Photography and Fashion versions. Interesting stuff, I’ll have to get my Behance page updated a bit, I’m liking the look of what these guys are up to.
Christmas Card
Client: Roome Constulting | Agency: Made in England by Gentlemen
It’s that time of year again, but this time it’s going to be a yellow Christmas! This is the Christmas card I’ve made for my friends at Roome Consulting to send out to their clients. If you’re lucky you might get one in the post :)
Big Asteroid Impact
The animation isn’t anything particularly special, but the choice of music – Pink Floyd’s Great gig in the sky is genius.

Jonathan Ball
Icame across Jonathan Ball’s work on his Behance portfolio, he’s a freelance illustrator from Wales, his main site is pokedstudio. There’s a tonne of high energy, slighty dark but cutesy work on there, plus quite a few handy freebies too.
