Invoice Template

Invoice-Blank

I made a new invoice template today, my Dad told me I should be putting invoice numbers on them.. so it needed updating. Anyhow if you google invoice template you get a load of garbage, thought I’d upload mine, might be of use to someone.

Basically it’s a Photoshop file, which you can download here. All the coloured shapes are just masked off flat colours so it should be pretty simple to change the colour scheme, stick a you’re own logo in etc. All the text is editable, although if you don’t want to change the fonts, you’ll need Knockout, Phaeton & Numbers Indicia.

Update
I’ve changed a few things on my own invoice over the last few years so I thought I would update this template as it still seems to receive quite a bit of traffic. Now includes net total, a larger area for name’s and address, various other tweaks.

  1. Thank you, this is brilliant and just what I was looking for! I love how your dad told you about the invoice numbers :)

I’ve managed to tweak it further with free fonts and my logo, so generous of you to share it.

  3. As a photographer and having studied new media and dabbled in graphic design I knew I wouldn’t be happy with the riff-raff that you mentioned on Google. What a total corker of a design for an invoice, you’ve really inspired me with this amazing design, THANK YOU. You’re magic.
    :)

  4. Just wanted to say THANKS for the brilliant invoice template. Found it while Googling “graphic design invoices” and it’s exactly the base I was looking for. Just discovered your site, but I am enjoying the walk around. Thanks again! Have a great day!

  9. It’s true, when you google ‘invoice template’ you *do* get a lot of garbage! But I also found your invoice through the image search – it’s brilliant, I think you did a really nice job! Not knowing what to put on an invoice (I was using Paypal invoicing before this, lol), I found your invoice a huge help in putting together my own design :) Thank you!

  11. Cookie your a bad ass, this is brilliant. I now feel completely ashamed that I have been sending the standard Freshbooks invoices to clients.
From today onwards, I am a changed man. I’m inspired.
    Thanks!

  12. Cheers for sharing this Cookie – I love it! Huge fan of your work. What brush did you use for the rough lines and edges? Cheers, Paul

  14. Very fine, you just need your registered company number on it as well as your registered company address, (only if it’s different to your normal address).
    cheers

  15. Hey MIEBG.

I also build had to do mine recently, and found that the best solution for invoicing and generally getting paid was using the mac software ‘Billings’.

    Google it!

You could easily convert your template so it would work with the program. Billings would then output pdf invoices for you to email clients, and also let you track who’s not paid up yet etc.

It’s a great little program – try it out!
