Chinoise Fondue

Ah man, the first and only time I’ve had one of these before was when I was a kid. I reckon it left a lasting impression on me more than anything else -I’ve ever eaten, but this is the first time I’ve come across it since, so we had to order it!

Basically you get a plate full of raw thinly sliced beef, which you dunk in a pot of boiling broth to cook. Which is interesting enough, but the best bit is the selection of sauces you eat it with, I don’t know 20 odd different flavours, all a taste sensation.

Also once you’ve finished all the meat, they stick some sherry in the broth and you have a tastey soup to finish, yum yum :) It didn’t dissapoint, every bit as good as I remembered.
