Mustaches of the Nineteenth Century

vinatge photographs of moustaches

Nicolas sent has just sent me the link to this moustache blog, thanks very much!

“The Nineteenth Century gave us many things, but above all it was a hotbed of facial hair experimentation”

It’s great visual and witty insight into the hirsute gentleman of latter years, make sure to take in the glossary of technical terms too.

  1. i found the photograph in the middle in my house. i thought the man was related to me, but i guess not. maybe he is my relative though…i hope so. my only dream is to grow a mustache like that, but i am a female so i can’t.

    but there is still hope…
