I‘ve seen a lot of the Rio Grand in cowboy movies, well here’s where the river starts! Tastes pretty good :) not sure about it further down stream though!

Paul ended up in the river! Don’t worry he was fine, just a couple of wet feet. Not the first time though, I think we forgot to tell the story of Paul’s first trip to the bottom of the river..?

We packed 7 days worth of food to get us from Pagosa to Lake city, the first few days we were struggling to make 15 miles a day… So now we have to do 20 a day on the back end to make up time before we run out of grub!

We see them all over the place, when you pull it out it looks just like a leek, anyone know whether it’s edible or not?
