You’ll need to make a bit of time to have a good look round Dr. Odio’s Flickr collection, it’s pretty extensive. If you like bizzare images, retro future stuff, circus freaks, strange love, evil rabbits and monsters, then you’re on to a winner here.

This is quite interesting, a mock-up of the real world tools synthesized in good old Photoshop. Check out the making of photos to get an idea of the scale of the installation. Funny thing is though, some elements still look a bit photoshopped?

I‘m not generally a big fan of installation art, but I find artist Michael Johansson’s collection of works really interesting. My favourite piece is his Hair Formula 1, racing with ping pong balls & hair dryers, pure genius.
A Formula 1 racetrack constructed from hair dryers, hair curlers and hairpins. The ping-pong ball follows the current of air around the track, and the guardrail of rollers helps it to survive the “hairpin bend”.

Ithink these crocheted breasts and penises by Shannon Gerard are hilarious :) But they’ve actually got quite a serious application – Early Detection Kits contain small lumps that can be found by following instructions provided in the accompanying booklets. The booklets take you through all the necessary steps for performing monthly self-examinations of your own breasts or testicles.
Top work Shannon, the perfect prop to take the edge off what could be quite an embarrassing and dry ‘lesson’.
