Name that Shoe
I came across this photo of these leather shoes today. I quite like them and was wondering if anyone knew what they were or where I could get them?
Recycled Fluorescent Tube Light
I really like this, a light shade made from a load of old fluorescent tubes, beautiful. Made by Castor Canadensis a Canadian interdisciplinary design outfit.
Beautiful Colour
Across my desk at work is Greg, we pump out hot air from the backs of our G5 towers towards each other all day. Only recently I’ve discovered how good and daring a photographer he is (he’s a web developer during the day). Check out his Flickr account for lots of saturated colour, graphical compositions and fun fair fun.
Next week (2-9th December) he’s having an exhibition at Gallery 5 in west London, I can’t wait, see the NottingStill website for more info.

Pledge Handmade this Christmas
I’m all for handmade presents, all mine generally are made by me. There’s definitely been a bit of an explosion in people selling handmade stuff recently, probably spearheaded by the community at Etsy. I think it’s great and should be encouraged, so now you can pledge to buy handmade this Christmas.
Go on, you know it’ll make the world a slightly better and more interesting place. Better still just make your own, they don’t have to be perfect, it’s often the imperfections that make them so great.
Reas International
Loving the work of Reas International, led by Todd James.
Son of a gun it’s refreshment time!

Animation Backgrounds
I’m in awe of the craftsmanship of animation background artists. Animation Backgrounds is a blog devoted to that art and I can’t get enough of it.
