Ihave to be honest, I’m not all together sure what the hell’s going on here… But the fact that this guy has produced such a vast body of work that I’m struggling to understand or even describe is surely worthy of note. Check out 9000’s photostream here and see if you can make any sense of it.

Plasticine Morph Flashmob
This isn’t particularly fresh news, but I just found the photos of the plasticine Morph Flashmob outside Tate Modern last month. Really put a smile on my face and a great tribute to the late great Tony Hart.

Twitter disguised as a spreadsheet
So, you work at a big corporate, huh? And you’re not allowed to use Twitter… Wouldn’t it be awesome if there were a Twitter tool that looked just like Excel? Welcome to Spreadtweet.
Johnny Kelly – The Seed
The recent trend towards handmade paper craft seems to be still going strong, director John Kelly mixes it up with hand drawn animation in this lovely animated voyage through nature’s life cycle (sponsored by Adobe CS4 and made by Nexus). Be sure to check out the interesting making of video, and his portfolio (with brother) and his Flickr Stream for more work.

Webby Awards honoree
I found out yesterday that my documentary of the CDT has been selected as an Official Honoree of the 13th Webby Awards. In some ways I’m quite sad about this news, would of liked to got a proper nomination… Mustn’t grumble though, it’s still good news eh :)
And thanks to Nicky for paying the submission for me (birthday present).
I’m in Holland
Well Amsterdam to be precise, I’m over here working for the next couple of weeks. This is the windmill I walk past on the way to work, it’s nice working and feeling like you’re on holiday at the same time :)
English Things
Hwa Young Jung has done a great job of cataloging and drawing various English Things. It’s funny, a lot of them I don’t think of as being ‘english’, they’re just normal. Interesting that someone new to the country is so fascinated by our brands.
I’m glad to see that he’s got my local beer from back home on there – Timothy Taylor’s Landlord. It’s the most awarded beer in the country and 4 times winner of beer of the year :) Grab yourself a 12 pack »
Happy Easter
Well it’s that day again that the easter bunny came down and taught us all how to search for chocolate eggs. But I bet you’ve all wondered what would happen if you blow torch a wax bunny? Well Bre Pettis put it to the test.
30 Ways to Die of Electrocution
Here’s some pretty strange diagrams of 30 ways to die by electrocution from a 1931 illustrated German book on electric safety. Anybody got any idea what the hell’s going on with that baby electrocution. Can’t for the life in me think what that contraption would be for, other than to electrocute you!
