Well this is really up my street! Artist and mosaicist Emma Biggs is making a huge mosaic out of Made in England pottery back-stamps :) “The Made in England mosaic is a celebration of the Stoke-On-Trent ceramics industry and its history. The mosaic incorporates a range of fragments displaying back-stamps and potters marks, representing a wealth of stories and workmanship.” The image above is just an example to illustrate how the mosaic might look, Emma needs people to contribute to the project by donating a piece of pottery with a back-stamp on it.
