The World Beard & Moustache Championships were amazing! I didn’t really realise how utterly bizarre and ridiculous the event was until we left and walked outside into ‘reality’ it was like walking into a different world…
Apparently I came 4th in the Imperial Moustache category, although only 1st, 2nd & 3rd get placed - everyone else is 4th!
We had a bloody great day, met a lot of real characters from around the world. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay through to the end due to heavy drinking from 11am, I was on my back before the finals… Not sure if the tache is going to survive for the next one in Alaska in 2009 :(
